Power

2023 Ford Maverick Towing

The 2023 Ford Maverick's standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine produces 191 horsepower when paired with an electric motor. A non-hybrid powertrain with an optional 2-liter 4-cylinder with 250 horsepower and an 8-speed automated transmission is also available. With the Towing Package, it has a remarkable payload capacity of 1500 pounds and can tow loads of up to 4000 pounds. It is capable of hauling 2,000 pounds. Compared to the non-hybrid engine's 23/30 mpg, the hybrid engine achieves 42/33 mpg. Through 2023, fuel efficiency will remain excellent. Mechanical changes include upgrades to the all-wheel drive system, such as a twin-clutch rear differential that can be opened or locked depending on traction. Also included in the Tremor is Ford's Trail Control System, which permits slow cruising for curving roads.

One of the most exciting features is the Flex Bed, which lets you tailor your bed (4.5–6 ft) with a detachable wire that can support up to 300 pounds and can be adjusted to tilt the tailgate differently. Plastic panels have also been placed along the sides to facilitate loading and unloading and shield you and your truck from dents and scratches. A power outlet, a small lockable pocket, a built-in bottle opener, and strategically placed lighting are also present inside the bed.

The Maverick is made of recycled materials and is customized to each customer's preferences with cutting-edge design and brilliant colors. For 2022, there were three exterior color options: Black & Navy Pier for the XLtrim, Navy Pier, Scout Orange, & light gray for the XLT, or a combination of Desert Brown and Navy Pier for the Lariat. In 2023, additional exterior colors could be added. Even the back seat, which can be folded flat to create more space or elevated to show storage, provides a wide and stable seating posture.
