What’s new:

So far we’ve heard rumors that the 2023 Ford F-150 will come with a new hybrid engine but not much else about what to expect. If it’s anything like the 2022 model, we might see numerous body styles and configurations to make a truck that suits every need. The question is how many changes will we see this year?

Engines:

The 2.3-liter I-4 hybrid with 330 hp and 350 lbs-ft of torque and 5-liter V8 with 470 hp and 450 lb-ft are promising, especially in terms of fuel economy. He first is estimated at 29 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway while the other offers 15/23 mpg.

Trims:

Until we know more about what the engines will look like for the 2023 Ford F-150, all we know right now is what we’ve been given in 2022. The 2022 F-150 offers several engines: 3.3-liter V6 with 290-hp, 5.0-liter V8 with 400-hp, twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 with 325-hp, a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that produces 400-hp; and a 250-hp 3.0-liter diesel V6. All come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. There was also the arrival of a hybrid powertrain that we hope to see more of this year, too. Stay tuned for more details as we learn what 2023 will keep and change from its predecessor.

Interior/Exterior:

A spy-shot report has shown a hard-edged, aggressive front end with a domineering grille and slender highlights. The GT might have an even bigger grille with large air-intakes and optional hood scoop but the coupe is predicted to be different.

Tech:

  • 4.2-inch infotainment screen on entry-level model
  • Higher trims have a 12-inch
  • Hopefully a digital gauge cluster

Safety:

  • Ford Co-pilot360
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Lane-keeping assist
  • Blind-spot monitoring
  • Rear cross-traffic alert
  • Available adaptive cruise control
  • Blue Cruise hands-free driving system

Conclusion:

We can’t wait to learn more about what the 2023 Ford F-150 will bring to the road so stay tuned and we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
