Jarrett Scott came to my house to complete recall work which when you work from home, is very convenient.
The only place we will go to buy a vehicle in the future. Smooth easy transaction. This was the third place we went and it was my daughter’s first car. They treated her with respect and didn’t try to talk her into something else. Great people here, highly recommend!!!!

From my initial contact to my final purchase the entire experience was stress free and upfront. I purchased my 2025 Mach E GT from Josh Phares... a true gentlemen and respectful salesman. Josh worked with me over the phone and through text as I was over an hour away. The vehicle was in transit when I reached out and Josh was honest and transparent but wanted to make sure he had eyes on it before spending any time going over details. After a few calls over the holiday weekend we locked in the deal and I drove over to Plant City from orlando. The dealership was clean, all of the staff were friendly and they had the car detailed and pulled up to the front for me. I also had the pleasure of working with Kamal Brohmi who worked hard to get me the best financing rates, reaching out to multiple banks. Chaun the General Manager also came out after to shake my hand and thank me for my business and have some casual conversation and complimented how sharp my vehicle was. I bought a new truck from here and could not have been happier with the experience. I drove over 3 1/2 hours to pick up the truck (I was able to a higher trim level vehicle at the same price as lower trim levels at big city dealerships) and because I was traveling so far, I wanted to make sure everything was in place before getting there. My sales Rep, Oliver Salcines, was super helpful making sure everything went smoothly. He kept me updated with price changes on the truck, handled my trade, worked the deal and had all the paperwork ready to go when we showed up. We were in and out in about an hour. This a smaller dealership but they treat you right and their inventory is just as good as the big city dealers. The drive was worth it, and I would recommend this dealership and especially Oliver to anyone one looking for a New or even New to Them Vehicle. Thanks Oliver.

From the moment I got to Jarrett Ford, I felt zero pressure and was met with helpful and extremely fun representatives. Josh did a fantastic job listening to what I needed in a truck, researching inventory and explaining the features and differences between the trucks. He got me all set up with the perfect truck for me, the handoff to financing was quick and smooth – financing had me in and out – truly the best experience I’ve ever had from an efficiency and time standpoint. Justin is a solid, hardworking salesman and I'm not an easy car-buying customer to deal with. Justin made promises, but more importantly, he kept them which is not the norm in car-buying. 2026: Had repairs done with the service department and was happy with the results and with the cost. Great experience as always. 2025: I needed to find a larger car than the 2018 Ford Focus I had bought. I wanted a pre-owned and bought a 2021 Ford Escape with the aid of Ryan Weems. It is a great car and I bought a 7 year Warranty on it. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Another good experience. 2018: Mike Sessa is The Man!!! My wife, Gail and I needed newer vehicles. It was time. We live in Lithia and wanted to stay local. I saw Jarrett Scott Ford in Plant City on a google search and requested an estimate of what our previous vehicles were worth. I was contacted by Margaret Holt and Ryan Killian who made an appointment for me to look at the inventory and have the Jeeps appraised. We were paired with Mike who was a gentleman and highly versed in his business. We went through the paces with him and were directed to the Finance Department where we were waited on by Jimmy Lawson who was amazing also. In three hours we were driving off in two beautiful new Fords. I have the Focus and she has the Eco-Sport. We love them already. Great cars. Her Eco is black and my Focus is Blue... Go Bolts!!! Gail bought her first new car, a Pinto, from Ford in 1974 and I had bought my first new car, a Pinto, from Ford in 1972. We didn't meet until 1984. How is that for a coincidence? It was a great experience and we are very satisfied.

This is just the BEST Ford Dealership..... :-) We LOVE our Ford trucks for SO many reasons and being newer residents of Plant City, we wanted to check out JARRETT SCOTT FORD. The dealership was Bright! Clean! and everyone was so polite, helpful and welcoming! The staff we interacted with were phenomenal! Very helpful!!! There was a huge selection of new vehicles available for purchase. Chaun Buttorff, New Car Sales Mgr, was so kind and helpful and very personable! We explained we were not ready to buy a new vehicle, but wanted to meet him; which we so enjoyed! After speaking to him, it was evident why his Sales Department ran so smoothly and efficiently and the sales team all seemed so upbeat, like happy to be working there! :-) Another day, we visited the Service Department for an oil change, Beverly was very helpful and efficient in getting our truck in, and out, with no long wait and no hiccups! She was so kind, extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful! Another visit, we worked with Mike Heverling in purchasing an extended warranty for our 2023 F150. Mike was so knowledgeable and offered such great advice to maneuver us through the process. Just this evening, we stopped by Harrett Scott Ford, (as we were down that way), to check out the new trucks parked in the parking lot, the new colors being offered, the sticker prices, options, etc. While we were there checking out the different available trucks in the parking lot, a car pulled up next to us. Out jumped Hunter Hickman, Sales Department, who offered us any help we needed by answering our questions. It was quitting time for him, yet, he hung out to answer our questions and show us what was new!!! We were just window shopping and not ready to buy, which he understood, but still explained the different options available on the new trucks and answered our questions. What a fantastic, well-rounded Ford dealership full of high energy, knowledgeable Ford employees!! Just what you would expect from FORD.
If you want a friendly laidback atmosphere that doesn’t push or hound you, then come here. I just bought my 5th vehicle there and they make you feel like family. Everyone there from the salesman to service advisors and great. I highly recommend them plus the process is straightforward and fast unlike big high volume dealerships that go back and forth and make you sitting for a long time.

I was upfront about our budget and explained that this car was for our new 16-year-old driver, and the entire team was fantastic every step of the way. Sales, finance, and the used car manager were all genuine, honest, and never pushy — which is rare when shopping for a used vehicle. A special thanks goes to Oliver, who took exceptional care of us throughout the process. He stayed in constant communication, answered every question, worked with us to get a very fair price, and has even followed up multiple times after the sale to make sure everything is going well. Traded a Honda for a Honda at a Ford Dealership—and Lived to Tell the Tale! My family and I were in the market to upgrade our trusty Honda Odyssey to something a bit newer. Now, we aren't exactly "shiny new car showroom" people; we prefer the seasoned charm of the used market. That’s when we spotted a used Odyssey sitting on the lot at Jarrett Ford in Plant City. Yes, you read that correctly. We drove all the way over from Orlando to buy a Honda... from a Ford dealership. We fully expected the Ford folks to look at us like we were speaking a foreign language, but they didn’t care that it didn't have a blue oval on the grille. They took absolute champion care of us. They made sure we got a quality ride at a fair price, and when we pointed out a couple of minor things that needed fixing, they didn't hit us with the classic "Oh, that noise? That's just the car's personality." They actually fixed them! The best part? Zero slick, crazy sales gimmicks. Nobody tried to sell us undercoating, nitrogen-filled tires, or an extended warranty on the windshield wipers. It was shockingly simple and entirely hassle-free. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, save yourself the headache and check out Jarrett Ford. Do yourself a favor and ask for Steven Kirby—the man will treat you right, even if you're buying a minivan instead of a Mustang.
Mr. Larry Flintstone at the dealership is amazing! I bought my first car on 5/18/2026 a Bronco Big Bend! He was calm, not pushy and answered every question I had! He even followed up with me a few days later to see how I liked my Bronco and if I needed anything to just give him a call. I would 100% recommend him! The service even with the other employees was similar. All laid back and straight forward trying to get you the best deal for the car you want.

We had a very positive experience with this ford in plant city. Steve kirby was a very pleasant salesman to deal with, he gave us very good deal on the vehicle. It was a stress free purchase. Steve was very knowledgeable on everything I needed to know about the f150 we bought. His manager Jeffrey was also very great. I would recommend this dealership to others . The deal on the car was straight forward with no hidden fees, which some other car dealers try to do, and that's not very pleasant. All around a wonderful experience and perfect f150. I don’t write reviews. Frankly, after my experience shopping for an EV across the state of Florida, I was more interested in warning people away from dealerships than praising one. But Jarrett Scott Ford and especially Josh P. completely changed that. Over the course of several weeks, I searched for vehicles within 700 miles of me. I contacted roughly 10 different dealerships throughout Florida. The experience was honestly embarrassing for the industry. Constant games, bait-and-switch tactics, dealers refusing to honor Ford’s own online pricing and financing estimates, salespeople trying to redirect me into vehicles I never asked for, and multiple dealerships pretending they could do a deal just long enough to harvest my contact information and harass me afterward. It reinforced every negative stereotype people have about buying a car. Then Josh from Jarrett Scott Ford called me. The difference was immediate. The conversation was concise, professional, informed, and respectful. Josh already knew which vehicle I wanted. He already understood the pricing structure I was asking for through Ford’s online shopping tools. He acknowledged the frustrations I’d had with other dealerships instead of pretending the problem didn’t exist. He simply asked if I still wanted the deal. I said yes. What every other dealership in Florida somehow failed to accomplish over the course of weeks of nonsense, Josh handled in less than 18 hours. He finalized everything professionally and personally delivered the vehicle to me the very next day. That level of competence is apparently rare in this industry. What stood out even more was that Josh actually understood EVs. That sounds like a ridiculous compliment to have to give someone selling electric vehicles in 2026, but after speaking with countless dealerships, I can confidently say most salespeople seem completely uneducated about the products they sell. Josh knew the vehicle inside and out. He understood the controls, the setup process, the technology, the features, the charging ecosystem, and how to walk a customer through everything fluidly and confidently. It was night and day compared to the incompetence I experienced elsewhere. And the dealership itself deserves credit too. Leadership clearly matters at Jarrett Scott Ford because the culture difference was obvious. They treated me like a human being instead of an opportunity to manipulate a payment sheet. They honored a competitive deal on a highly loaded vehicle without turning the process into psychological warfare. Amazing concept. Humanity in car sales. Somebody alert the industry before they outlaw it. Most importantly, I walked away genuinely happy with my purchase. Nothing feels worse than buying a vehicle and spending the next several years wondering if you got taken advantage of. Instead, I got the exact vehicle I wanted, at a price I’m proud of, from people who earned my trust and loyalty through professionalism and honesty. Josh is an absolute asset to this dealership and honestly one of the only genuinely impressive sales professionals I encountered anywhere in Florida. Every other dealership should send their staff to train under him, or at minimum learn how to communicate with basic decency and transparency. If you are shopping for a Ford anywhere in Florida, stop wasting your time with other dealerships. Seriously. Contact Jarrett Scott Ford and ask for Josh P. They earned my business. The sales guy Justin was amazing very sweet and easy going. The financial part was long first off the wrong Vehicle tried to get financing and that was not the one I wanted. Didn’t tell me I was not able to get a warranty due to financing reason but it should have been told so I could see if I was able to just pay for it. It’s something everyone should be available too

JARRETT SCOTT FORD – GREAT EXPERIENCE I had the privilege of shopping at the Jarrett Scott Ford in Plant City, Florida this week. They had the certified used Honda Passport EXL in the sought after Obsidian Blue Pearl color I had been searching for. I made a 3 hour drive to check it out. (That’s how important it was to me to find this specific SUV). I had visited many dealerships locally and I test drove about every compact SUV and a few midsize as well before choosing the Passport. I made a search on several car websites, including Autotrader, which led to the match at Jarrett Scott Ford. The price was quite reasonable, and the mileage was within my desired range -- under 30,000. I wanted one owner and no accidents. I was trading in a Honda Odyssey with 110,000 miles. The trade-in value came out quite reasonable. A reply came almost immediately. Excellent service by the internet sales manager, Cameron C. We spoke over the phone and via text. He was professional, courteous and an Army Veteran (God Bless our Service members now, and those who served in the past). He answered all my questions. We were able to get most of the “work” completed before I began my drive to see and drive it. Cameron connected me with sales rep, certified product specialist, HUNTER H, who answered my questions by text, and we also chatted by phone. Hunter was timely, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Without my asking, he sent a video of the Passport outside, inside -- all while narrating the features, which were many. The customer service for car-buying here is unmatched from my other experiences. I met several people during my visit, and the common theme was everyone seemed to enjoy where they work. Employees seemed to genuinely care about listening and helping to create a positive experience. I saw the owner Jim Scott, the Owner of 18 years. Shaun B, the sales manager of many years who was energetic, helpful and so positive. I always dread the “finance room” part of car sales. Not here. Mike H was thorough and straight-forward in showing me the options for warranties, etc., if interested, and zero pressure. We will be looking at those options carefully. No decision was needed on-the-spot. Quickest experience I’ve had. Mike, too, showed his dedication to excellence in customer experience. He was kind --and had a joy that was evident. He has many years of employment at JSF. Employees that stay for years is a telling sign that the work atmosphere is good. Work is work, but this place seems unique. Great people, great experience. I was given a suggested time to come in but arrived half an hour earlier as I was already on the road and wasn’t planning on going anywhere else. I was greeted immediately upon entering the Service Department and shortly after registering my visit my car was taken into a service bay. Service was great and I was on my way home within a reasonable amount of time. I will be back to purchase new tires.

Easy to book an appointment and they sent email to confirm. They have transportation within a 15 mile ratio. I got home took a shower and the car was ready and they the driver was at my door. Jarrett Scott Ford is the best Ford dealership around. When I was looking for a new car I went to another dealer in the area and was basically told this is what we have. We decided to drive to Plant City and was connected with the best sales team that helped me find EXACTLY what I was looking for. They even brought it up from a sister dealership. The great service didn’t end once the sale closed, it continued with a great service department. The service team is great to work with, has great communication, and ever has a shuttle and car pick up service for convenient appointments. I highly recommend Jarrett Scott and will be back to buy all my cars here!
I drove over 1,000 miles for the HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM, and NO GIMMICKS!!!!! I’ve owned a lot of cars….done a lot of deals in dealerships and normally the back and forth can get exhausting. Jarret Scott is second to none! We applied online for financing, approved quickly, came in to test drive car, signed papers and drive home! I have never been so impressed with a dealer. I assumed they would pressure me or jack the numbers up but nope! They are the real deal!!!!!! Next time I need a car I’m coming back(1000 miles!) to Jarret Scott!

Amazing experience from initial call to pulling out of the lot! I was in a less than ideal situation under water on my Mercedes and sick of paying exorbitant amounts in maintenance and repairs (not to mention the time it took for parts). I genuinely felt Tom and Chaun did everything they could to lessen the blow of my trade in and get me into a new explorer. I never felt taken advantage of, hurried, or pressured and left feeling both relieved and excited to have my new car. Even in finance, everything was thoroughly explained and because of their extended warranty I feel that much more protected in the occasion anything should happen. Jarrett Scott Ford in my opinion and based on my experience is by far the best Ford dealer in Central Florida. I was shopping for my new truck in Southwest and Central Florida. My local dealer in Fort Myers “Sam Galloway Ford” was extremely unhelpful. Gauging the price and lowballing me on my trade price. Very much similar was my experience with other dealerships. Some of them had mandatory, hugely overpriced “accessories” and “add ons”, or exuberant dealer fees. Derek from “Jarrett Scott Ford” stayed with me and worked hard to make the deal happen. They gave me a good price and he even drove all the way to Fort Myers to deliver my new truck. I would highly recommend Jarrett Scott Ford to anyone looking to buy a Ford!

Came from Kansas to get a CPO’d F150 from Tom at Jarret Scott and he was super helpful in navigating the process despite being in another state. When I showed up they gave me a ride from the hotel and everything was already handled. Only needed my signatures. Good guys. Super friendly. Shoutout to the finance manager Alex for figuring out all the Kansas legal stuff even though he hadn’t sold to a Kansan before. Felt like both Tom and Alex were straight shooters. I just stepped in for a minute as I was looking to get my truck serviced. But alas, I found out that you need to make an appointment in order to get an oil change during the week. Saturdays are first come, first served starting at 7am. I fully understand the reasoning behind making appointments, and I am not knocking them in any way. I know this helps keep their employees working and the shop efficient. So heed my advice, call first and make an appointment.

My wife and I have purchased several cars over the years, and going to a dealership let’s say was not an enjoyable endeavor. The process was simple here at Jerrett-Scott, I found an auto on social media the sparked my attention with the price clearly marked and realized it was lower than other dealerships in the area by a good deal. I reached out and started to ask questions, every single question was answered immediately and clearly. My wife and I decided to submit a credit application for the auto and we received an approval rather quickly, with a really good interest rate, with this economy. All we needed to do was really pick out the color that we both liked, we came up with two blue ones. We made an appointment and went to the dealer in the middle of the week they had the first auto sitting and waiting on us to test drive it, witch we did and loved it. I wanted to see the other blue in person instantly loved that color a little more, so we test drove that one and we knew this was the right one. We arrived back to the dealership finished up some preliminary paperwork and had to leave to get my waive back to work. Once we returned that evening the car was cleaned full of gas and ready to go. We went into the finance office complicated all the paperwork in a very quick process. Needless to say we are very satisfied with this experience, and with all the other dealerships around we chose to drive past 2 other Ford dealers to purchase from Jerret-Scott and so very happy we did. Took care of a lease buyout in less than 1hr from a vehicle we leased from another dealership that took 6hrs to lease, even though we had the exact stock # of the vehicle we wanted! We called the previous dealer 4x with no response. They made almost nothing off this transaction (and didn't have to do this), but Gordy and Mike could not have been more pleasant and professional. Steve Burgess was awesome to work with. I recently purchased a used Mazda SUV from Jarrett Scott and cannot say enough about how great Steve was to work with. I had been searching for a while and Steve was quick to get back with me on availability, had the car ready upon my arrival to check out and knew his stuff. Having bought several cars before, Steve made the purchasing process about as straight-forward and efficient as I've ever experienced. I had Hugo as a sales person. Though I did not buy the car he was an A+ salesperson. He took so much time with us and bent over backwards to help. He had said they were the "old fashion" car sales so I went in thinking he would counter offer my offers. Because this place had not so good reviews I wanted to write about my experience there. Hugo-great all around sales person-if I change my mind I would definitely ask for him again.
I was sent here from my regular dealership, because my dealership didn't have the part that my truck needed. Thank you Biden for logistics issues 3years later. Anyway the service department was very nice and they had the part needed, It was installed and me and my truck were our way after a couple hours.
Ok experience but the salesman was worthless however the finance guy was excellent. Had to take the car back to get washed and detailed well that took five that right five hours. Salesman said they were overwhelmed that day but when I went out back I was the only one.
Pros: My salesperson Gordy was very respectful, friendly and professional. We didn't feel pressured and were given as much time as we wanted to examine my 2022 Ford Edge ST and ride around in it. I absolutely love my car and this dealership was the only one that had EXACTLY what I wanted. The other associates I encountered were all friendly and welcoming. My 2022 Ford Edge ST is perfect and has everything I wanted. Cons: I did a lot of preliminary research and used the financial calculator/estimator on the Ford corporate website and JSF's website before going in to get my new Ford Edge ST and was shocked to learn my calculation and estimate was about $250 lower than the actual amount I ending up paying because of fees not mentioned or listed on either website. For example Proc/Doc fee, Rental Charge, etc. I asked if these add ons could be negotiated and was told "no". Don't believe that. On the actual Ford Lease Agreement some of those add ons ARE NOT EVEN LISTED in the preliminary estimate or don't match same. Those additional fees and costs not previously disclosed was my greatest disappointment. Also I didn't like that I had to ask for everything I signed as I was signing it. I know this is the digital age but that is something I am entitled to without having to keep asking. I got everything I asked for in the end but I should have been offered it in the beginning. The digital signature for the lease agreement even says I agree that I was provided the agreement before signing but I still had to ask for it BEFORE I signed it digitally. Also, BOTH Ford AND JSF pulled hard inquires on my credit report when only one or the other should have. I would still recommend this dealership to others but overall they need to be more transparent about 'added on' fees and costs including negotiable add-ons, not posted on Ford's website and the dealership's website so that consumers like me can make fully informed decisions about their budgets. The dealership has the information that should be disclosed on their website. Everything else went so smoothly, but the consumer should not have to be shocked into reality when they are ready to sit down and lease or purchase the vehicle.
Salesman was very good up front and felt like a fair deal was established by both parties. After sale was complete, called salesman on 3 separate occasions to obtain additional details about vehicle and all 3 times salesman was not very engaged and did not seem interested is speaking. Said he would get back to me with information I requested and have heard nothing back to date. Salesman was younger so I would be inclined to visit dealership again but will certainly be asking for someone with a bit more experience in dealing with customers if I decide to do any future business here.
~11/28/18 I brought my Ford mustang in for a simple brake inspection. All was well until I noticed my back left ALLOY rim had a giant gouge in it. Keep in mind, this was not a simple scratch it was a large cut, as if you took a hatchet and hit the rim with it. Long story short, Ford denies the damage and I'm left to foot the bill of a $190.00 rim. I won't be coming back here and I DO NOT recommend you bring your vehicle here, unless of course, you want to leave with more damage than you came with. I was offered a free oil change to satisfy my issue, but that equates to about a 25 dollar value? No thank you, it's gonna take a lot more than that to fix my rim. Update 1/8/19: After filing a complaint with the BBB I was contacted directly by the location manager. Shortly after we were able to reach a resolution in which my rim was repaired to my satisfaction. This was originally a 1 star review. It is now 3 stars due them eventually repairing the damage. Though this shouldn't have happened in the first place, and I am still leary to return.
Beware: Bait and Switch deals. They advertise far lower than the actual price. I drove 45mins to this dealership, because a co-worker recently picked up a 2024 Ford Lightning Platinum lease deal and the terms were very attractive, making me think about getting one. The dealership he got his deal doesn't have the color/options i wanted in a vehicle on the lot, so i searched for dealerships with one in stock, so i could see it in person took the 45 minute drive after confirming it was on the lot over the phone. The sales person Hunter was awesome, great guy to work with on showing the vehicles, but the numbers advertised don't match what they are really selling them for. The lease numbers were directly from Ford website for this dealer's vehicle, so i expected them to lineup and possibly be negotiable some since my co-workers deal was a better deal. Asked for the exact numbers listed on the Ford website for this dealer and the sales manager came back with numbers over twice what advertised and said that is the lowest he can go. Straight up bait and switch advertisement. Website says $483.42/month 36/10.5k $8219 down. Dealer came back $972 with 10k down for the same 36/10.5. Was a waste of time. Edit: 5/14: After a dozen attempts to reach me since my visit to the dealership, i took the time to respond to one of the Sales Managers emails, but this turned into a waste of time also. I asked clearly could you explain why the advertised price for the truck is not reflective of the numbers i was given. They just sent me a link to generalized ford lease stuff and told me it includes a discount that this vehicle doesn't qualify for and that is why the numbers are wrong for a lease. So apparently they need to work on advertising factual information instead of misleading people with bait and switch.
Bought a used truck from them. Of course with the truck being used it is expected to have some scratched and dings which i was completely ok with. I end up buying the truck and they do one last detail before sending me off with it. About a week and a half later I wash the car(myself at home). As I’m doing so a million more scratch appear as well as a bluish purple color coming off with them, almost as if they used some sort of paint to help make it seem like there were a lot less scratches than there rlly were. I’m very disappointed with the dishonesty shown from this dealership.
I'm actually disappointed to leave this unfavorable review. I purchased my Hybrid Maverick Truck in February. There were some issues that followed, which were taken care of by the dealership post purchase, so I did not post an unfavorable review, at that time. I recently found out that one of the key fobs they gave me was to another vehicle, not mine. I contacted the salesman Matthew and his only option was for me to return to the dealership with both key fobs and my truck, so that the key fob could be reprogrammed. I explained I live no where near this dealership and would be a 3 hour trip for me. I asked for the repair to be completed at a dealership near me and the answer is negative. I've contacted the service department via the website as well and no response. I was in sales for many years before I retired, and at my own expense did all I could to make my clients happy when "I" made a mistake. I've also recently discovered that the AM/FM antenna is missing. You think I should ask about that too? Caveat emptor! (Buyer beware)
I took my 2020 f150 in due to the engine light coming on. With only 22315 miles. The dealer contacted me and informed that both catalytic converters were bad. They have to order new ones and was told that they are on backorder. They told me it was okay to drive until the cats arrive. So I went to pick up my truck and noticed the front carpet and floor mat was covered with dirt along with a filthy steering wheel. Not a happy camper. (Update)Thank you for offering a full detail but I detail my own vehicle. My question though is this, how and why can both catalytic converters go bad on my truck with only 23k miles? This doesn't make sense to me. Did you check the O2 sensors and or check for a vacuum leak? Help me understand. New update...8 months and still waiting on the CONVERTERS . WOW!
Giving a 2 for the simple fact that the initial sales process was great. However, after you are over the curb and need something accomplished from a "we owe" they are terrible at responding and coordinating. First - their detail department is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Bought a used Expedition, the car went through detail THREE times and I still had to have it cleaned elsewhere after the sale. During the sales process they had buffed the edge of the Expedition with some cleaner that scratched and faded the trim piece. they promised us a new trim piece and trying to get back in to have this piece installed is like pulling teeth. We were told to contact the body shop manager, we did. we needed a loaner since this is an all-day process, we were then told "contact sales" for the loaner. We did, to only be told "let me find out" and then left on read over and over until we reach out. The lack of communication for their commitment AFTER the sale is horrible. Do not recommend this place unless it is strictly for the sale and you need nothing more after that. If you have a "we owe" get it done before the sale!!
2 vehicles in 2 years. One of those was a 2015 Ford Focus. At the time we were sold the vehicle, Ford, the dealer and sales people knew about the transmission issue. Every attempt to have the dealership work on solving the problem resulted in no action and in one case, being told to "see them in court". 5 clutches in 5 years on an automatic transmission. The service department, Beverly especially, is the only reason I still use them. I joined the law suit against Ford and was awarded a buy back. I did not get a full refund, but far more than I would have received trading it in or selling it. We chose another dealer and purchased a vehicle when we turned in the Focus.
David and the service team are a scam $227 to tell me a simple starter has failed ???? Lied and first said it was the battery then switched up to the starter also said starter replacement needed reprogrammed quoted $1300 starter replaced for $65 in .5 hr please run far far away from this incompetent dealer I wouldnt even purchase from this dealer these guys should be working at take 5
We scheduled an appointment for our “quick” lane service (oil change and tire rotation) and ended up waiting over two hours for the work to be completed. The service technician we dealt with was not particularly helpful. We were shocked, because our prior experience with the service department had been very positive. We will consider other options in the future.
I did an internet search and look for a car and found these guys. I found my vehicle somewhere else but now 3 weeks later I am still getting text messages phone calls and emails from these guys and when I told him to stop they asked like something's wrong with me wondering why I'm upset well I'm upset because I don't like anybody blowing my phone up especially people that I've told that I don't want to talk to and I don't want to do business with. Somehow they think that aggravating you to death is going to make you want to buy a vehicle from them but they have a completely backwards and that's why their entire lot is full of 24 and 25 that they can't sell and that's why they're being so damn desperate is because for the last 2 years at least they've been making extraordinary incomes as they bump the prices up and up and up and give you less and less and less but these morons won't even take no for an answer and they invade your privacy and then want to make it sound like something's wrong with you because you don't want to talk to them so I say close the doors and let you sit on every vehicle you have forever until you go bankrupt because you're nothing but an aggravating part of a society and another place that nobody trusts

The initial experience at Jarrett Scott Ford Plant City was fantastic. We made an appointment to test drive a used Tesla Model 3. Staff was friendly, our rep Branden was kind and did a great job. We test drove the vehicle and negotiated a price that was very close to what we wanted to pay. My wife and I had two other vehicles to look at and advised we would let them know. That evening we left a message and sent an email advising our interest in the vehicle, and made a few requests. This was after hours and they are closed on Sunday. Monday morning a manager named Al communicated with my wife and they came to terms on the vehicle. We were advised that there were other potential buyers for the vehicle and asked if we could put down a deposit. We advised we would be happy to do so. Al then asked my wife to email him her credit card info. This can not be standard operating procedure. A company the size of Jarrett Scott must have a more secure electronic data procedure than "email me your credit card info" We advised that this was not secure and we would provide the info if he wished to enter it into a secure system an make a charge. Al stated he was unable to do that at that moment but would mark the vehicle as sold and that he had received a deposit. My wife and I took off work early and began the hour long drive to pick up the car. 1/2 way through our trip Al called and advised the vehicle had been sold to someone else. The most upsetting part was his attitude and complete lack of ownership of this issue. He was short, unapologetic and stated he had no controle over other sales staff. They did not negotiate with us in good faith and sold a vehicle that had already been committed to us. Al did advise he wold be willing to show us some other vehicles, he did not apologize for the situation or offer to meet the price we had agreed to on a similar vehicle. We would have considered looking at something else had we been treated better after a vehicle we had made an agreement on wad sold out from under us.
Do yourself a favor spend your money somewhere else its not worth your time and headache. They will lie and sell you a defective vehicle. I have the truck for 45 days of that 15 spent waiting to fix a leaky ac well that they fixed Also rear diff pinion seal is leaking "they fixed it" by cleaning it that is first time i ever heard how you fix a leaky seal. Guess what its leaking again, and ready to go back to a shop. Im not going back to this place again I wish there was a 0 star
Really disappointed and will not buy another vehicle from Jarret's. I bought a 2016 mustang gt and a 2022 f150 xl stx package treated me trash and don't honor a paper contract. Wait by the holidays it will be revealed. They allow there mechanic/drivers to synced a employee phone/device into my/customers vehicle. That's a breach of privacy the body manager poorly didn't believe me sent pictures he went to confront the guy. He then answered yes I hooked up not even caring that he now has access into my phones stored into ford sync. This will be a huge corrupt exposure. 20k repair they forgot my antenna and just used a black marker to fix the seat they damaged. Poor poor sales and service. This dealer is full of under going self going pricks and ford become a true piece of crap company. There doors will be permanently closed at the end of 2025. Cypress lanes sold the alley and moved scared away for hiring me and then calling me saying I had a check go to work drive 45 minutes and maryfran just said we don't need you any more cypress then sold to change to incredible bowl. I want ownership from this new owner Alex Smith the head mechanic is a undergoing fatass. He will be fired for smoking weed and doing whatever but I get fired and I have a clean record florida bar needs to come to my house and just pay me out from not making this government go down completely.I had a 1.2 million dollar hospital bill from Lakeland regional this country needs to help me or I'm running the country with no one's say. This is corruption. Hit a light pole at 47 mph insurance claim but not one airbag deployed. Insurance had me drive it to a repair shop after truck was home to decide. Liberty mutual had me drive to there repair shop and they wanted tot total it out joe Hudson repait This needs fixed bank wants to sue for 20k when they took it and wouldn't agree to even adjust thr loan if it was there just says i owe and I'm I'm going to Chevrolet or dodge at least the dealer would sit down and help trace these scam rings and bullshit. Ford has lost out with good service and quality of work not just rushing and saying 16 days when truck took until September 20ths nearly 3 months.
Set appointment for 8am oil change, the works. Was told expectation was to leave it all day. unacceptable. Why would someone make an appointment to leave it all day, I'm not a walk in. Took 4 HOURS!! DEFINITELY NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Had a great experience buying a brand new 2023 f150 back in October of last year. But then the tables have turned the truck is a lemon. When I came home from vacation there was a big oil leak from the rear seal. The dealer took it in for service to fix the issue. They called 5 days later the truck is ready but when I got there the truck was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. When I took it for a test ride the truck stalled leaving me rolling back to the dealership. Then they take it back for an hour and say something was unplugged then I take it again the engine is making weird noises and I left the truck again and had to make the 2 hr trip home again. After the weekend I pick it up on a Monday in the morning don’t think much of it then it runs fine when I get home. The next morning the car runs fine until I get on the highway and the truck misfires again. The truck never had misfiring issues until it went to that dealer when they fed up the truck. Then when I pull into my house there is a big puddle of oil after they apparently fixed the oil issue. I called them and told them about the issue and David our service advisor was ignorant and told us to go someplace else even though they are the ones who caused this mess. Do not go for service here and now I have to look for a new car because after 13000 miles this car went to sh!t because of them.
ZERO STARS FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND FOLLOW THROUGH OF MANAGEMENT. The service department at Jared Ford Scott is a nightmare. Transmission issues with the Ford F150 and apparently only one transmission tech at this location. Multiple service appointments made. Show up for scheduled appointments after driving for almost an hour and taking off from work, only to be told the transmission tech is out again. Reschedule the appointment. Parts take forever to come in. Tech and service always say they are going to call you back within the next couple of days. You never hear anything, just left hanging. The person scheduling the appointments is frustrated because there is no communication between the scheduler and the service department. Brought truck back for same issue after a lengthy and costly repair. Same issues with F150. Showed up for appointment and transmission person is out yet again. Make another appointment. Show up and transmission tech is out again. Ford Company supervisors knew the transmission person was going to be out – they should have hired a temp person or a part-time tech to cover the department. Come back for another appointment. Finally getting somewhere. Service Rep tells me parts are ordered, will only take a few days to come in. Says he will call me back on Monday. Never calls. Call him back and now the transmission guy is going to be out for several days. Call back after never hearing anything. Transmission guy is still out. The service rep stated he will call me back to reschedule. Never called me back. I call back and now the service rep is no longer working there. Call the service desk to find out what is going on. Now Forid is telling us that there is no record of repair. No record of any parts ever being ordered. There are NO notes in the system, telling me I must bring the truck back, leave there all day and start from scratch to be diagnosed again. This back-and-forth yo-yo from the service department has been going on for multiple months and F150 is still not running right and now I have to take more time off from work to be diagnosed yet again. How can there be no service notes in the computer for my account and no parts ordered when the rep spoke to our insurance company. Now being told David is taking over our service needs. Called back and asked David if Ford would provide a rental car for one day for the inconvenience of having this diagnosed for a 3rd time with the transmission department for the same ongoing issue. Probably not he says, “someone has to pay for the wear and tear of the vehicle and the mileage for one day.” Is Ford that worried about their profit margins and the bottom line that they can’t eat the cost for a one-day car rental for something that should have been addressed and repaired months ago. And for multiple cancelled appointments when you show up, after driving up all the way to Plant City due to months of ongoing staffing issues. Where is the supervision of the service departments. This is the worst level of customer service, follow-up, and management I have ever seen. It’s how you handle situations that make customers return, and Ford is failing miserably in the repairs/service department. I am just dumbfounded by the way customers are treated here. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I bought a brand new 2020 Ford edge. I took the extended warranty. Now three and a half years later I'm having fuse problems. This is the second time in less than six months the vehicle is back at Jarrett Scott. They give me the run a around it's been there since Wednesday and they haven't even looked at it. It's one of those new style engines with echo boost. That's the engine Ford is having trouble with. Don't do business with Jarrett Scott they are not honorable people. They are trying to get out of their responsibility. I'm sure they will not answer this posting. Once again don't do business with them.
My experience was not good because there was something I specifically asked for which was the combination lock keypad to be connected to my truck and I was promised and confirmed that that had been done and everything was done, but when the truck was delivered to me it was not done and they explained that they would come back and connect it and then they didn’t come back and then they said they couldn’t come back after promising me they would come back, and then they said I had to do it myself. What? After having them already confirmed that it was connected and after having spent all that money, and having paid in cash for the truck and they didn’t even connect the wireless keypad door lock, now I have a date at my local Ford dealer not from Jarrett Ford where I bought the truck a month out to get that combination code keypad connected to the truck, as a businessman I know to double check and triple check to make sure are done before I sign away on anything but since the truck was delivered to me and in front of my driveway I wasn’t going to make them drive all the way back I’m just too nice a guy I guess that’s why you can take advantage of me sometimes and I guess that’s what happened anyway thank you guys for telling me you did something that you didn’t do I guess if you were just honest with me and said you didn’t do it then I could’ve said maybe wait or I could’ve come there I don’t know but I knew it was going to be like this and that’s why I asked many times if you had everything done especially with the combination keypad.
Don't bring your vehicle here to get it serviced I've now been there twice and still haven't gotten the first issue that I brought it there to begin with fixed. Instead they do a bunch of other stuff to it and then tell me that another person's going to have to look at it the next day. I will never return
Traded a really nice weekend sports car to get another truck for my business. Truck was supposed to be Ford certified but with all the problems I don't see how. I am now several thousand into the truck with a new transmission, new brakes, a/c issues, and more. Lucky for the dealership I am out of warranty. Think twice about any used vehicle they sell. I wish I had looked and asked around more.

Don’t let this dealership fool you, they are no different than all the rest. Money is the only motive. After what seemed like an eternity of negotiating one of their vehicles to a a fair price, I was happy with the transaction. I was told the vehicle would be detailed and filled with gas multiple times while all the financing was being taken care of. In that time, their financing dept added a GAP insurance policy to the deal without my knowledge which greatly increased my monthly payment. This was later discovered once I had already left the dealership. Their excuse? “Oh well you signed the contract!” Whatever helps you sleep at night. And to top it off, when I went to drive home in my new vehicle, the car read “0 miles to E”. After being told 3-4 times it would be filled with gas, I was then told “oh we gave you too good of a deal to fill it up for you”. They really let $50 in fuel ruin the entire transaction. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle and doing good business which they clearly know nothing about. Jarrett Scott ford! Money hungry dealership, just like all the rest! Oh and did I mention they posted my trade in for $10k more than they paid me? Do yourself a favor and find a car somewhere else

Purchased a new defective 2024 Ford Mustang last week. Drove for 5 days until it was returned for a replacement. I tried to call them today and was told to find another dealership to business with and refused to take my call as I am taking them to court next month for recovery of dealers fees. I paid cash for the vehicle and they now do not want me in their facility. I can't wait to talk to the judge. ALL BUYERS SHOULD DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE...THEY ARE A JOKE.
Called to make an appointment 2 weeks ago, stated trucks lifted need 2 front hubs…. “Ok great, appointment set for Friday at 7, show up, “oh we can’t do this cause it’s lifted” waited 2 weeks when I could have done it myself they sold me the parts tho guess that’s cool…

I have waited until now as I was not so angry. I have been taking my car to be serviced for many years, even when I had a Toyota. However, I was not happy when it took all day for my last appointment. I believe if you have an appointment, you should be taken care of first. I have always been able to leave my car at 7:30 or 8:00 and have it back by 12:30 or 1:00. I only work part-time and go home at that time. This last time you had my car until 4:30 and had the nerve to call me at that time about something I might have had done had I been called earlier. At that point all I wanted was to get my car and go home. I have waited until now so that I could rationally tell you my feelings. I was very disappointed in your service!!
This business took my trade gave me 8500$ and it was on their lot in less than a week for 17k$ there was very little could have done to prep it. I guess they needed the money to keep in business good job Jarrett ford plant city wonder why you get a bad reputation. I have a mutual friend who knows a manager at another Jarrett ford in Davenport wish I would have went there karma is real and I hope plant city Jarrett ford get theirs soon. I am not one those people that complain just to complain this dealership totally screwed me over and I don’t somebody else to trust them. Also the vehicle I purchased has a vibration in the wheels and didn’t show up til u get over 65 mph. And I trust their certified pre owned inspection. This place stinks
On Monday September 11th I contacted sales representative Hugo Gardin with Jarrett Scott Ford Motors for information on a used 2020 Ford Edge vehicle listed on the internet. I originally found the vehicle advertised through CARFAX online search for a discounted sales price. He assisted me with the sales negotiation of price and financing options but had to discuss the final pricing with Sales Manager Jeff Camara. At first Jarrett Scott Ford did not honor the sales price listed by a third party. They claimed that the list price had misleading information. After the final negotiation we agreed on an out-the-door overall cost with and without financing options. Being that I live in another city, I was waiting for the final contract and to send a deposit to secure the vehicle. While working and in between conference calls, I was unable to sign a contract and send the deposit to secure the sale. The vehicle had been sold during the duration of negotiations which was only a couple of hours. I received this information via text messaging. Not even the courtesy to contact me directly and apologies. After feeling betrayed and misled by such poor salesmanship this has only proven that Jarrett Scott Ford does not offer “Good Faith” during the sales process to any customer. No one should ever do business with such a dishonest company.
Made an appointment for an oil change 3 days ahead of time and drove 18 miles only to be told that my appointment was not in the system and I could either make another appointment or wait 4 or more hours for the oil change. What a poor service department.
I purchased 2020 Ford Expedition my salesman was Cameron Caldwell. The vehicle had a cracked driver tail light salesman assured me that not only would they replace it but they would have a loaner vehicle to come pick it up and fix the light and bring it back due to the fact that I work for a utility company and I have little time off. After the cell I contacted them three separate times twice the salesman was off that day and when I finally got a hold of him he told me they had no loaner vehicles and that I would have to bring it in to get it fixed. That he had nothing else to do with it he was not only rude but a out right liar. Extremely poor customer service if you're looking to buy a vehicle go somewhere else they're a disgrace to the Ford Brand
A $1,000 manufacturer's rebate was errantly left off of my original buyer's order. When the error was discovered, instead of crediting me with the rebate, the dealership created a revised buyer's order two days after the sale with a higher sales price and kept the rebate for themselves. Imagine my delight if they would have credited me with the $1,000 that they left off of my buyer's order. I would have been a customer for life. Instead, they used typical car dealer tactics to swindle their customer. Now, I'll let everyone I know not to deal with any Jarrett dealership.
I was very excited to trade in my old 2004 car for a 2015 Toyota Corolla. I saw the Corolla and and test drove it and immediately wanted to purchase. I told Michael Shelburn (person who sold me the car) that I’m waiting for my bank to send the check and I look forward to signing the paper work. Shelburn then continued to call me everyday asking if the check arrived. After some time with the car I noticed why he was so insist on me paying for the car as quickly as possible. Their are SO many things wrong with this car. I reached out to Shelburn about my issues with my wheel and was told I would have to pay to get it looked at. I’ve had the is car for less than two years and problems keep arising. I understand cars eventually need repairs but it’s so evident Plant City Ford wanted to get rid of this car. It’s so unfortunate because I really was looking forward to owning a Toyota car.
Awful experience, rude arrogant management team, and if you are a woman be prepared to be man-splained. ZERO stars, go somewhere else.
After they get your money, they dont care about you one bit. Got nothing but a run around with the we owe that at this point I cant be without a car so its pointless. Sales portion was great. Every single other department is absolutely terrible. From detail department washing the car 3 times to service giving the run around. Never Ever Again.
I know people read my reviews. This going to hurt Jarrett Ford plant City If I could put zero stars I would worst customer service I've ever had in my life charged me $150 for labor to tell me that it was going to be $1230 to fix my extended cab doors only took it there to have the battery replaced and that was even expensive. 175$ thanks Mike, you're the best Don't need your discounts. Absolutely the worst dealership in my area. HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I ended up taking my car in limp mode to Lakeland Ford and have been a customer of Lakeland Ford ever since. I have bought 3 trucks from Lakeland Ford since my bad experience with Jarrett Scott Ford. FYI, Lakeland Ford gives a lifetime power train warranty on every new vehicle they sell.
Dropped my truck off Monday morning to have work done. Told them I wanted a tune up and 2 new tires. They instead did absolutely nothing to my truck and said that my money would of been better spent changing my caliper rotors and brakes. The "advisors" exact words were "Your brakes are at 0%. Very dangerous." When inspecting my brakes myself this is what I find. Almost 80-90% of the brakes left. The manager I spoke to was kinda, Chris was his name. Having an advisor that straight up lies to customers is unacceptable.
Very shady service department brought my vehicle in for warranty and recall work went to pick up vehicle after the service department told me it was ready and the issues still weren’t fixed then a day later I got a text from them saying my battery was bad after talking to service found out that someone at the dealership had swapped out my one year old 250$ good battery for a battery that was from 2019 and was completely dead and the dead battery was a Walmart everstart battery which I haven’t even been to a Walmart in over 7 years then I had to beg the dealer to replace my battery that was stolen while in there possession then they put a very cheap 99$ battery in my car also they performed a recall on my rear suspension then claiming that I needed to pay for the alignment after and when I finally got my car back my wife could hardly keep the car on the road due to the front end alignment being way off and before I brought my car in it drove perfectly straight STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPT VERY SHADY PEOPLE ps.but they do have an awesome car sales team
A Dishonest dealer, I called in advance to check pricing on a vehicle and was told that Mike would get a manager and call me back shortly. After waiting for 50 minutes I called back to get an update and was told that the vehicle just sold. When I arrived at the dealership I saw the same truck on the lot(not sold), I did not tell them that I called previously and I tried to work a deal on the out-the-door price on the vehicle. After back and forth we did not come to an agreement due to a low-ball offer on our trade in and the additional fees. The Truck was listed as $33,000 but went to almost $40,000 when they added their fees. When I informed them that I prevously called and was told that the truck was sold they called me a liar and that I was just "trying to start trouble" by the manager. I was just trying to negotiate a deal in person and was met with extreme unprofessionalism. Do not go to this dealer, like most dealers they are predatory. All I did was ask to agree on a out-the-door price before we discuss financing and trade-ins and was told that I am trying to structure a deal incorrectly. Also, I confirmed that the truck was the same truck discussed on the phone, it had the same stock number.
Made an appointment for an oil change at 9am. When I arrived I was informed it would take roughly 2-3 hours before they would even take the car to the back and start working on it, then another 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the oil change. That would make it about 4-5 hours total at the dealership for a simple oil change. What’s the point in making an actual appointment if it’s going to take 2-3 hours before they even touch it for just an oil change. At this point it would probably be better to just do a walk in system, get rid of your so called appointments. That’s not an appointment at all. Seems like all they want is your money, and to waste your time. Unacceptable, I don’t recommend them
Service beware!! They will lie and attempt to cheat you via service. Bad customer service, bad experience, and my review was honest. The bad part is they will blame the customer for the bad honest review , as they attempted this morning in a phone call ; regardless of the fact of verbally insulting the advisor after they attempted to cheat me. And in turn was threatened by the so-called advisor . we will never return to this cheating dealer!!
Old fashion car dealing. Was told by the salesman when I said I needed the price that was in the newspaper. The answer from the manager was no and I’m done with this guy.
Worst service experience ever. Beverly Cannon is not to be trusted. Asked why work was not done as clearly stated on the work order answer well it costs 150$. Didn't ask how much asked why not done. She said bring it back we will fix it. Did not fix it. Will never be back as car care professionals have advised me " sounds like a scam". Told one owner that work was not on work order, guess what she read it to me off the work order TODAY! Guess that's how you treat the senior citizens in Plant City.
Took my vehicle to Jarrett Scott Ford in Plant City on March 20, 2022, as I had a check engine light. Code reflected it was the heater control valve that needed to be replaced. Jarrett Scott did not have that part in stock but could get it in later that day and for me to bring my vehicle in the following day. I was quoted that it would be three hours of labor along with parts, shop supplies and taxes. On March 21, 2022, I took my vehicle back to Jarrett Scott to have these repairs resolved. They had my vehicle in the shop for a total of two hours and charged me for three hours of labor. I did not discover this until after I had swiped my card. The service advisor, Justin (who was fantastic, keeping me updated throughout the service repair) is new and was apologetic and said he would have the manager call me back to discuss the extra hour of labor that I was charged. Later that afternoon, Chris the service manager called me to state since I was quoted for three hours of labor that’s what I was charged for. Said it did not matter that they completed the job in two hours as “they are in the business to make money!” While I may purchase another Ford from a dealership, Ford will never service my vehicle again. This is the third Ford dealership in the area that does nothing but screw over their customers. **Update** Issue has been resolved, chocked it up to miscommunication
