Since the 2025 model introduced major updates, the 2026 Ranger carries over mostly unchanged. As of October 17, 2025, here’s where estimated pricing stands across the lineup:
The Ranger’s powertrain lineup stays the same for the new model year. The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder delivers 270 horses giving it more than enough punch for daily driving and light towing, while the optional twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 steps things up to 315 horsepower and comes standard with four-wheel drive. Its four-cylinder engine pairs with either rear- or four-wheel drive for added flexibility.
The EPA hasn’t posted official 2026 fuel economy numbers yet, but as everything else stays the same, these numbers should as well. The 2025 Ranger earned 21 mpg city and 26 highway with rear-wheel drive, or 19 city and 26 highway with four-wheel drive.
When properly equipped, the four-cylinder model can tow up to 7,500 pounds and haul 1,788 pounds. The V6 keeps that same tow rating, though payload capacity dips slightly, to 1,542 pounds.
The Ranger’s cabin continues to impress with its solid materials, smart layout, and long-distance comfort. The vertical center touchscreen gives the dashboard a clean, modern look, and Ford wisely kept its physical HVAC controls for quick, tactile adjustments.
