Power & Performance
The F-250 Lariat is ready for action with a heavy-duty gas-powered V8 engine. If you need a little extra heft, the larger, 7.3-liter gas-powered V8 engine will get the job done. However, if you want to take towing capabilities to the max, you need the optional Power Stroke V8. This turbodiesel engine supplies an incredible 1,050 pound-feet of torque to help you move colossal trailers.
And both of the F-250’s optional engines feature a 10-speed automatic transmission that’s optimized for heavy-duty trucking. Its Selectable Drive Modes alter transmission settings for the best possible ride (note that Slippery is meant for wet or icy pavement, while Deep Sand/Snow is strictly for extreme off-roading conditions).

Exterior Style & Truck Bed
The Lariat is available with two body styles: extended Super Cab and Crew Cab. The extended Super Cab features a roomy front seat and comfortable rear jump seats, the latter of which can easily be stowed to create extra cargo space. The Crew Cab is the comfiest cruiser, supplying generous legroom in both rows.
Either cabin option is available with one of two truck bed lengths: 6-feet-9-inches or 8-feet. Unlike other F-250 trucks, the Lariat is only available with the single rear wheel configuration.
